Avril Ramona Lavigne (Belleville, Ontario, 27 septembre 1984) est une chanteuse pop-rock canadienne. Connaissant un grand succès depuis plusieurs années, elle a été décrite comme l'« anti Britney Spears » même si depuis quelque temps elle dit comprendre ce qu'il lui arrive et défend sa cause. Elle est mariée avec le chanteur et guitariste Deryck Whibley du groupe Sum41 depuis le 15 juillet 2006.
